Born in Providence Rhode Island, Jason grew up enjoying and creating delicious, traditional dishes. His technical skills started at a young age as he worked alongside his mother in the kitchen preparing family meals.

From humble beginnings in his first restaurant job as a teenager, his enthusiasm for creating amazing experiences through food and service soon bloomed. Chef Dame attended Johnson and Wales University in Providence Rhode Island, where he studied Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management.

Chef Jason has been responsible for running several of Tampa’s most preeminent restaurants along the way. 

While extremely competitive, he is a remarkable 8-time medal winner of the ACF National Culinary Competition and was honored to represent Tampa, FL for the Superbowl in 'The Taste of the NFL'.

Reflecting on his 30-year culinary journey, Jason’s career has afforded him many impressive accolades, but now as he takes the helm at Fuego Comida & Tequila he is beyond impassioned to embark on this exciting culinary adventure.
